Rubber contamination occurs regularly in all types of packaging (boxes, bottles, jars, cans, pouchers) and in all food industries. We are talking about natural rubbers. Synthetic rubbers are ranked under plastics! Often they are pieces that have come from a sealing ring and have ended up in the food. The density of rubber is greater than that of food and therefore easily visible.
Rubber should always be tested to determine whether detection is possible
ScreenTec therefore always tests with rubber contamination to determine the validation of the screening.
Normally parts of about Ø4mm can be found.
